Ratings Pedigree:

Winemaker's Notes

Blend: 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 18% Petite Verdot, 10% Cabernet Franc

This Red Meritage is a subtle, sophisticated wine that has elegance and finesse. Each varietal was aged separately in small oak barrels before being blended to showcase the best attributes of each of the grape types.

On the nose, herbal tea aromas blend with complex notes of coconut, cherry and undertones of anise. With well integrated oak, this wine displays black cherry and mint flavors on the palate, with soft, velvety tannins and a medium long finish.

awesome, well balanced with the cab having just enough tanins & smoothed out with merlot & other grapes. hard to find, fairly priced, if you find it, stock up, seems like it might be built to age (so uncommon now!)
