I was never a Rose drinker until this summer. I tried several over the summer and this is my favorite by far. It's a Cabernet Sauvignon Rose and I can taste many of the chactersitics I like about Cabs in this Rose. Yet, it's much lighter and easy to drink. It's goes well with a wide array of foods.

I wish I could remember the name of the 90 rated value rose' wine I had last year but it opened my eyes to this type of wine and it's the standard by which I now judge rose'. Mulderbosch is popluar. It has no off notes with strawberry flavors that are light and pleasant...but not exceptional depth or complexity for a rose'. Given that rose' is made from different types of grapes maybe those made from 100% cabernet isn't my favorite but it's good. I'd give this rose' a score of 86 with 3 quality stars.

I love this wine, every year it delivers a wild dazzling strawberry blast but stays dry and refined. Just a fun wine to drink - having a glass tonight in defiance of the March snow storm we are having tonight!
