Wow - what an amazing Cabernet for the price. From famed Mount Veeder and made in a classic style, available for a very limited time only. Try some while you can! Deft balance, an elegant, integrated style with a pretty mix of blackberry, mocha, black cherry, mineral and anise flavors, firming up on the finish, where the tannins are chewy. Slow, even ripening adds to richness and ripe, supple tannins. We blend fruit from our Mount Veeder ranch with small lots of other Napa Valley hillside grapes to add complexity and depth. The result is a wine that is immediately rich and supple, with the potential to age.

My favorite wine from my favorite vineyard by my favorite vintner. I love every year. You can't ever go wrong with Mt. Veeder if you like mountain fruit. This wine, in my opinion, is always under rated. Although 2000 was a tough year, I feel that the 2000 Mt. Veeder is better than the 2001 that was just released from what is considered a better year. Try it yourself. You can't go wrong. At this price, what have you got to lose?

My favorite Napa Cab, period. The 89 rating is way too low - I'd rate this 94 points, minimum. Best price I've seen on this wine, anywhere.
