Bright garnet color, with clarity not often associated with unfiltered wines. On the nose, aromas of plum pits, clove and other spices, and a touch of toasty vanilla enhance the typical Pinot Noir cherry notes. On the palate, a well-focused beam of plum-spice flavors is nicely rounded out with toasty oak notes. The finish is long, with supple tannins and well-integrated acidity. We feel the wine is suitable for up to 6 years of ageing in good cellar conditions.
