A blend of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Malbec, 25% Syrah and 15% Carmenere.
Deep ruby, shading to purple. Black currant, cherries, leather and capsicum; hints of vanilla and fresh-roasted coffee on the nose. Flavorful, full bodied, food-friendly with a good balance between acidity and sweetness of alcohol, as well as fruit and oak. Well-structured and complex, concluding in a long finish.
Well-matched with red meats, hearty casseroles and flavorful cheeses.
First experience in Cancun.
This is an excellent blend for the price. Carmenere adds a lot to the flavor.
very nice Chilean Red.
This wine has a horrible aftertaste. It is one of the worst cheap Chilean wines I've ever had. Stay away from this one.
Nothing wrong with this wine...it's just like those paintings or movie stars that look way better from a distance. The nose is very very lovely on this but the finish is dreadful. The tannins fall apart and leave an almost bitter effect. The wine is good, I just find it really disappointing when I find a wine like this--beautiful until the end.
