Winemaker's Notes

One hundred percent Trepat, a Catalan black variety especially apt for rosé production. Attractive light ruby color with pronounced red berry fruit and excellent mousse. Late disgorged with more than 24 months on the lees.

Critical Acclaim

"Light pink. Nervy redcurrant and blood orange aromas are complicated by honeysuckle and dried rose, with a sexy underpinning of dusty minerals. Juicy red berry flavors are brightened by citrus pith and gain flesh with air. Bitter cherry and raspberry flavors linger on a long, seamless finish. This would kick plenty of pink Champagne around the block-at a fraction of the price."

Definitely a cut above the typical Cavas we commonly see in the U.S. marketplace. Recommended.

There was something fundamentally wrong with both the taste and mouth feel of this wine. It was almost like drinking club soda. Given the price, it makes a decent mixer for a mimosa.

Learn About Rosé

Pink Bubbles Some Champagne and sparkling wine is pink. It's more rare, and more robust, and sometimes more expensive. But it's one of those wines that is just deliciously appealing. The pink color in a rose sparkler comes from the skins - which means that the wine must include at least one of the red grapes of the traditional method - Pinot Noir or Pinot...
