winemaker's notes:
White Star is a balanced blend of three wine varieties, revealing a harmonious succession of sensations, a soft maturity, and elegant lines. Soft and mature aroma of white fruits, like peaches and pears, and hints of nuts.

This is a very delicate and taste champagne with the definte undertone of peach. We drink this as a special occassion bubbly (Christmas, Parties, New Years) but it also affordable for more frequent consumption. The delicate nature of the wine goes well with mild cheeses and fruit, anything more really does overpower it. For New Years or Christmas, I recommend getting a magnum because Moet tends to be popular with everyone (and with good reason!).
Nice soft, very good champagne with great pear flavor. Very drinkable by itself. Not quite crisp enough or dry enough for me.
This is my one and only favorite in the price range, but I was recently told it is no longer being produced under the label "White Star" and Imperial does not taste the same. I have one bottle left, and New Years Eve is tomorrow. Please say it isn't so and White Star may still be had.
I buy White Star to celebrate most New Years! The best on the market for the price....... NO bad after effects, that I have ever experienced. I would recommend this one to anyone. It is that good!
I had this with dinner recently and enjoyed it thoroughly. Very dry in comparison to Perrier-Jouet, so don't expect a full-bodied champagne. Elegance and lightness define this sparkler. Great for the money.

I am the wine steward for a large grocery chain in Texas and as part of my job I must try the wines that I sample to my customers so I can describe them accuratly. The Moet & Chandon White Star so very delightfull with a gental first taste on the tongue and a delicious ending. Many of my customers after trying it quickly scooped up a bottle for themselves and bought other champagne for their party.

I've enjoyed many fine champagnes in my lifetime, but Moet's "White Star" is by far my favorite at any price... Perfect for every occasion.

My family and I have enjoyed Moet & Chandon every holiday season.
It's a classic champagne at the right price. :)

It's been my pleasure to have had the
opportunity to drink many different
and varied champagnes. From the most
expensive to the very low end of
the scale. It's my personal opinion
that Moet & Chandon White Star is
an excellent champagne. In fact, my
first choice, price not withstanding.
A very modestly priced champagne,
definitely not modest in its taste,
not too "dry" (sweet), not too bland,
certainly not "ordinary", but just
right. I gladly recommend it to
anyone who wants an excellent
champagne with a modest price.

THis is a great champagne for the price. A local wine expert suggested it when I asked for a Dom-like, very dry champagne. It really parallels Dom, but it targeted for the American audience. If you want a near-Dom champange for 1/3 of the price get White Star.
