It is fitting that this rare wine is also a dedication bottling to Edmund Mirassou, fourth generation vintner and beloved family patriarch. Our Petite Sirahs aromas and flavors fresh-picked blackberries and black cherries are interwoven with notes of pepper and allspice, reminiscent of this grapes Rhone Valley heritage. The long finish is complemented by a delicate touch of vanillin-oak. The wines integrated tannins provide drink-now appeal while promising further development in the bottle. Our H.R.P.S. is the perfect accompaniment to hearty beef and lamb dishes, barbecued ribs, and flavorful cheeses. At the historic family winery, Mirassou Chef de Cuisine David Page will feature this wine along side his Grilled Chopote Pork Tenderloin with Balsamic Vinegar, Raisins and Crisp Polenta.
