85% Malbec, 10% Cab. Sauv., 3% Cab. Franc, 2% Merlot
Big extraction with nose of plums, violets, and ripe fruits. Powerful and intense classic Malbec black fruit, sweet, round, and persistent tannins.
Love it, very smooth and great flavor.
Lt. ruby color with an oaky, plum nose. Dry raspberry and tart cherry. Long tannic, light oah finish. A very pleasant wine with food.
Fantastic aroma and color. Full, bold taste that fills your mouth with sensations, then is sucked dry by a smooth finish. Great bold red, but would reserve for a big steak or other hearty red meat. I think it would overpower anything less. 14% ALC maybe a bit overboard, but it is balanced well enough. Well worth the price. Go for it.
A bit of a bite, but packed with flavor. Excellent color and aroma.
A nice wine. Mellow with a smooth finish.
i would buy this wine again
This mellow and supple Malbec is not too sweet and tastes slightly of citrus. It would pair extremely well with grilled fish and other seafood that has solid, but not overpowering, flavor.
The Wine News 95 score is a significant over-rating of this wine. Strong impression of alcohol, but with a muddiness which undermined the fruit. Did not detect the touted hints of coffee or stawberries. Just mediocre.
