Winemaker's Notes

This vineyard is named for one of Amador's early settlers Henry Modani, who broke ground and completed his home in 1920. Located on a northern exposure and at a slightly higher elevation, red soils and gentle morning sun create a unique Amador microclimate. This combination lends to a brightness and lively acidity complemented by black cobbler fruits with undertones of raspberry and elegant tannin structure.

Another great selection from the Discovery Wine Club. Opened it last night and was pleased with the nice smooth fruity flavor and finish, not too spicy like some Zins. Will be buying more and extending Wine Club subscription!
