The color of this wine to be a ‘brilliant, pale straw'. The initial nose features a bright citrus bouquet of Meyer lemon and pink grapefruit. Following a swirl of the wine glass the nose includes not only citrus, but also a hint of melon. Emulating the nose, the palate is a harmony of crisp citrus and melon flavors, complemented by a soft, round mouthfeel. This supple quality distinguishes" wine from many of the popular ‘green, grassy-style' Sauvignon Blancs, and reflects"the decision to ferment 10% of the final blend in French oak barrels.
