I dont know what they are doing down under, but whatever it is, it's working. This Viognier is very good and for the price, a fantastic deal. The appearance is dark and rich with hints of ruby. After a little decanting, the nose is woody and rich with hints of fruit, wild berries and soft spices. The pallet forms nicely and transitions very well from its wood influenced beginning to its fruity middle and semi-dry, long finish. At this young age, grab a case of this wine and put it in the cellar. I think this vintage will be outstanding in 5-10 years.
