Alcohol By Volume: 13.0%

Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Produced from a blend of Grenache and Syrah grapes, this wine is aptly named to enjoy. It is built on fruit and develops notes of cherry and spices on the nose.

A wine to be drunk young – within three years of bottling. To be served slightly cool in summer. A rich, full, round, wine with ripe red fruit flavors. It is a pleasant wine with meat and poultry, as well as fish like tuna or salmon.

Blend: 50% Grenache, 50% Syrah
