She has the amazing ability to taste at a lot of different components of wine and then without even putting them together on the tasting bench, to select parcels that will marry harmoniously and with maximum complexity, all in her mind. The final blend for this wine is 48 % Shiraz 29 % Cabernet and 23 % Merlot, with the fruit being sourced from Padthaway, McLarenVale and Middleton SA using 15 different oak treatments.
