Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

When served at cellar temperature (~55°F) you will find our Chardonnay shows the best layering Gravenstein apple aromas with vanilla, butterscotch and spicy toast notes. Lush, juicy flavors of honeyed apricots are balanced by a Meyer lemon zest character. The creamy texture and toasty oak finish with continue to lengthen as the wine relaxes in the bottle. Why not grab a glass and do the same...Maybe luck will pair a pan-seared scallop in a spicy carrot sauce in your dreams?
