Wine Style Guide

Light & Fruity

Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Smooth & Supple

Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.

Earthy & Spicy

Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.

Big & Bold

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.

Winemaker's Notes

A blend of the classic Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Complex flavors of bing cherry and spice dominate the palate and are combined with hints of blackberry and a slight earthy component. This blend of flavors exhibits a good balance between acids and tannins that end with very smooth finish. Excellent when served with rich and robust foods, such as bold cheeses and game.
