A traditional, easy to drink wine, which comes from a blend of Dolcetto grapes from the vineyards of the Einaudi estates which surround Dogliani; namely, on the hillsides of Madonna delle Grazie, San Luigi and Santa Lucia.
Ruby red color which tends toward violet. Full bodied with rich, fresh and fruity aromas of undergrowth. Dry and moderately acidic tasting, pleasantly tannic, with a slight final almond note typical of this wine.
"This serious red is concentrated, with blackberry, black cherry and plum aromas and flavors, all backed by firm tannins. Still raw and unevolved, this shows potential to develop over the short term. Best from 2012 through 2016. 2,000 cases made."
