Deep red ruby color with aromas of ripe red berries, spice & black pepper. Fruity, with plum, fig, ripe berries on the palate. The initial taste is a little intense, but it's complemented by the softness and sweetness of the tannins; Opens up with time; Medium body and structure and a nice finish. Decanted for about 2 hours. Good value.
