Winemaker's Notes

A round and full wine, with ripe black and red berries aromas. Deep purple in color, it is a pleasant wine with an unctuous finish. French oak barrel aging provides great structure to this wine.

Critical Acclaim

"Dark, with a core of plum, melted fig and iron notes covered by dark cocoa and espresso. The long, rich finish lets a flash of minerality peek in. Drink now through 2011.—"

Poured with venturi aerator. No decanting. Nose was tight with little fruit and some earth. On the palate, there's good fruit and earth with a hint of kielbasa? but not in a bad way. Finish is most impressive. very long finish. Opened up nicely after an hour. Looking forward to tasting rest of bottle 2nd day. Good PQR.

Yet it's hard not to get caught up in the wine market of the world and some...
