Somm Note

Winemaker Notes

"Pure, jammy and heady: voilà, it's modern Malbec. The palate here is inviting, with decadent plum and blackberry flavors working in tandem. The finish is plush at first, with chocolate and espresso notes coming later. With plenty of virtues, this is a very nice wine from an average vintage."

"The 2004 Malbec is intense ruby red with aromas of cedar, coffee, pepper, black cherry, and blackberry liqueur. Made in an elegant style, the wine reveals silky tannins and ample ripe fruit. Drink this excellent value over the next 5-7 years."
