Full bodied but soft. Seamless grape & red fruit aroma & red cherry dominated taste. Surprisingly, given the weight, the wine doesn't complement steak as well as pasta & chicken. Serve as one would a good Rhone wine. 10/06 - has soften enormously - wonderful, seamless fruit, tannins & oak. It is now a marvelous complement to steak! WM913.
