This is a full bodied wine. It is very aromatic when young and keeps its strength all through its life. This is a delicious and smart wine.
Serve with rich white meats, fish and shellfish, especially in cream sauces.
"The 2010 Meursault Goutte d'Or is hard to taste after the Charmes, Perrieres and Genevrieres, as it is a smaller scaled wine. Pears, apples, white flowers and minerals are woven together nicely in this subtle, intensely perfumed Meursault. Although the Goutte d'Or doesn't quite have the pedigree of the top Meursaults, in exchange it will drink well upon release. This is the only Meursault premier cru Jadot purchases as wine (as opposed to must and/or grapes) and it is quite different in personality than the other Meursaults in the lineup."
