A graceful, elegant Chardonnay of medium full body, this wine shows the classic citrus and ripe stone fruit flavors overlaid by distinct notes of almonds characteristic of the appellation, ending in a long, ripe finish.

"Jadot’s 2002 Meursault is the finest they have produced from this commune in years, owing to the fact that they have seriously restricted their purchases and depend on vineyards they control. Its nose displays gorgeous richness, with sweet pear and almond scents. Expansive, deep, and fleshy, this graceful, absolutely beautiful, medium-bodied wine is packed with pears, apples, pepper, and sappy minerals. Anticipated maturity: now-2011."
