This unusual rare and rather exotic white wine is full, rich and spicy, with broad fruit flavours and exceptional depth offset by notes of almonds, earth and gently toasted oak. This wine has the potential to age a minimum of 7 years in good cellaring conditions.
"Moderately saturated medium red. Sexy aromas of red fruits, minerals and stone, with a whiff of exotic fruits. Juicy, sweet and gentle, but with good stony lift. Finishes with a medicinal cherry flavor and good length. 88-91 points "

"Here too there is discreet wood framing primarily white flower and lemon-based aromas that also evidence a pretty hint of minerality. There is good precision to the rich, supple and delicious middle weight flavors that culminate in a citrusy finish that delivers real punch. 88-91"
"The 2009 Beaune Greves Le Clos Blanc is quite a bit richer than the Bressandes. Here the aromas and flavors are woven together in a rich, textured fabric that impresses for its elegance and silkiness. The fruit shows plenty of ripeness and radiance, but there is more than enough minerality on the finish to add balance. Anticipated maturity: 2012+."
