Grapes are organically grown on 35-40 year old vines on 8x14 (bi-lateral cordons) and on 8x10 (head pruned) spacing. Cover crops and leaf pulling are practiced to promote optimal vineyard conditions. Ladybugs -not chemicals - are used to combat pests.
One of California's best Cabernet values, the 2005 is a delicious, medium rich Cabernet with wonderful character (blueberry, cassis, cedar, spicy oak), excellent balance, and an aftertaste that doesn't want to let go.
