Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Llai Llai Chardonnay is a light golden color. It has a fresh and un-oaked taste profile, with lots of minerality and vivacity. Very pure and precise fruit expression of the Bio Bio Valley. The citrus and floral notes, surrounded by a touch of tropical fruit flavors. It has a long, intense and fresh finish.

Critical Acclaim

"Opens with white fruit, citrus, mineral and mild vanilla aromas. Feels wet, fresh and vital, with a minerally cut and flavors of pear, lime and honey. Feels correct on the finish. More generic in style than unique, but overall it's a prime value Chardonnay. Best Buy."

Learn About Llai Llai

We do not think of who we are and what we do in terms of Old World or New World. We think of ourselves as passionate people who want to make a difference in wine, with wine and around wine.
