Limerick Lane Collins Vineyard Zinfandel 2003

Dark ruby in color with aromas of raspberry jam, plum, coffee, allspice and pepper with a hint of warm vanilla. Mouthwatering flavors of raspberry, plum, peppery spice, vanilla and jam lead to a long juicy finish. This wine has lively acidity and balanced tannins, which shows beautifully now and will cellar gracefully for 10-12 years.

The wine was aged in French and Hungarian oak barrels, 40% of the barrels were new. Completely estate grown, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. It is yet another prime example of non-interventionist wine-making, attention to detail and careful production techniques used at Limerick Lane Cellars.
