Light & Fruity

Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Smooth & Supple

Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.

Earthy & Spicy

Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.

Big & Bold

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.

Winemaker's Notes

Dark red robe, meaty and complex nose with powerful aromas of cassis and leather. Nice, dry palate. Soft and long with a slight bitterness balanced by over-ripe stone fruit.

Jason Cohen - Feasterville Trevose, PA (read all my reviews)

To date, this is the oldest wine I've had the privilege of drinking. It poured a dark, cloudy maroon in the glass with brick/brown edges. Leather and dust on the nose, with a hint of blackberry, and after breathing, blueberry. On the second day, the wine gave off pronounced aromas of cinnamon. (And it was good.) On the palate, subtle notes of leather, mushroom, licorice and blackcurrant, with the fruit opening up more as time went by. Tannins were soft but still around, and the balance was great. www.convictedforgrape.com
