winemaker's notes:

wine of brilliant clarity, which has a very pale straw color with lime green tinges. The nose shows lifted aromas of citrus blossom, green apple, lime and quince mixed with a mineral edge. A wine of exceptional length, the palate displays classic Rieslings flavors of lime, grapefruit and green apple. The palate finishes with clean crisp succulent acidity.

I did not get as much lemon as the reviewers, instead I perceived wonderful limey minerality. Green apple in there as well. Bone dry with high acid, the fruit is so juicy that my companion thougt there was residual sugar in it. Nope, that's called citrus fruit, lots of it. I have yet to try a Leeuwin wine I didn't love.
