The 2008 REDS offers a deep and broad mouthful of wine that's dark purple in color and seamless. The fruity exuberance of its zinfandel is tempered by the spiciness of the carignane, while the petite syrah adds depth and backbone. The resultant wine is both delicious and complex.
As always, REDS is a blend of 60% eighty year old zinfandel from several sandy soil locations around Lodi; 30% one hundred and thirty y/o carignane; and 10% thirty y/o petite syrah.
This is a great wine to match with burgers, pizza, hearty spaghetti dishes, and any full flavored foods. A true Wine for the People! It's time to Celebrate!!
