The wine shows a deep ruby, almost purple color, with a spicy, rich cranberry bouquet. Its dark cherry flavors are highlighted by excellent structure and depth all supported by elegant oak. Round and full in the mouth, with supple tannins and a fruit-filled finish.
"Minty, pointy oak aromas jump out at you, followed by pepper, leather, spice and herbal berry scents. Tight and sructured in the mouth, with black plum and ripe berry flavors. Turns oaky and hot on the finish, with vanilla and pepper flavors. A little fiery but the real deal for Calatayud."
