Nose: Intense nose with an array of spices (such as black and white pepper), and delicate red and black fruit combined with a touch of smoke at the finish from the barrel ageing.

Mouth: A pleasant medium body with good concentration and structure. Well balanced with smooth tannins, a lively acidity, and a long and enjoyable finish.

Service and food pairing: Open and leave to breathe minimum for an hour. Ideal companion of all red meat, winter soups and barbecue.

Smoky and spicy taste, after taste and smell. With just a touch of sweet fruit taste. Excellent selection for pasta, beef and even chicken. While it's not priced as a table wine for daily drinking, it's still a reasonably priced wine with excellent taste.
