Medium depth, crimson in color with purple hues. Satsuma plum, mulberry and musk lolly aromas jump out of the glass with savoury hints of rosemary, black olive and roasty adding to the complexity. Luscious black fruits flow onto the palate which is medium bodied, yet well rounded and mouth filling. Firm but fine, velvety tannins add a lovely structure and texture to the wine with sweet and briary spice balancing the juicy fruit through to the finish.
very nice. Smooth and strong, went with bolder steak & sharp cheddar the traditional pairing used to measure. Also used Black Diamond a Canadian Cheddar white .
Soft and smooth, just the way I imagined wine should taste when I first started drinking it. Not too much of a kick either.
