Very deep crimson in color with purple hues. Lifted, sweet, satsuma plum, raspberry and peach aromas dominate with hints of biscuity french oak. Lovely sweet fruit gives a full, rich mouthfeel and is balanced with briary spice and fine drying tannins. The combination brings about a luscious, fruit driven wine with an extremely long finish.
"Full-bodied yet surprisingly light on its feet, the 2008 Hangin' Snakes represents a terrific value. Peppered meat, fresh berries, coffee and black olive notes add up to a complex, savory wine, framed by soft tannins. Drink now-2017.
"Smooth and velvety, a sharp mouthful of mineral-accented red berry and floral flavors riding easily over the fine tannins, lingering on the finish. Drink now through 2016."
