Solid and lengthy tannins with balanced acid support and provide structure for complexity and aging.
This Alexander Valley Cabernet's full-bodied flavor pairs superbly with all grilled meats
This wine seemed a little harsh. I think it will really mellow out with age. However, I'm 74 and I'm not aging anything very long.
I found this wine to be very smooth, excellent wine with a good finish. I did not taste a lot of tannin. I felt it contained moderate berry, smoky or woody accents. It was good with red meat, salad or by itself. We have ordered more of this item. I did not experience a hangover with this red wine.
This is a really good cab, but you need to use a wine aerator or let it breathe at least 15 minutes, or both!
