A blend of 60% Malbec, 20% Bonarda and 20% Syrah.
This blend impresses you right from the start. Aromas of red cherries and raspberries are infused with mocha and spice hints that give up the secret for what's about to come. Your first sip washes broadly across your palate like a flood of sweet, fresh fruit and the viscous mouthfeel keeps the flavors lingering for a while. The hints of baking spice and some oak keep the fruit flavors fresh and lively. This is a wine that you'll want to stack up in your wine rack (or closet) for any occasion.
Great all by itself or with all your favorite red wine foods like burgers, ribs, lamb chops, and even pizza.
I really appreciate what this winery does...both in terms of promoting the family farms they buy from and making very good, elegant wines at affordable prices. This is drinking really well now--beautiful red fruit noses with a hint of that malbec violet (just slightly floral). Easy drinking wine, good with food.
Smooth Argentine red blend with medium body and oak. A lightly spicy finish lingers after the juicy flavors of strawberries, plum, and blueberries.
I tend to be a single grape kind of guy, but this excellent blend balances the qualities of the different grapes. It is a great choice if you thing Malbecs are too strong or dry.
