"This juicy, impressively filled Pinot Gris features strong themes of white peaches with complexing accents of jasmine and hints of wet stones. It is full and slightly rounded in feel with balancing acids tempering its slight residual sweetness. It is by any and all standards a deep and more interesting effort than most of its varietal peers, and it should prove a most versatile match with a broad range of foods."
"Light and juicy, brimming with Bartlett pear, cream and cashew flavors that keep singing through the long, charming finish. Drink now. 7,800 cases made. "
"King's '08 estate gris has a broad scent of white peaches and sweet, fleshy tropical fruit. The flavors are rich, but the wine has a zippy finish, with the cut to handle veal loin."
