Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2005
Sauvignon Blanc
from Marlborough, New Zealand
winemaker's notes:
Pale straw with touches of green. Dominated by classic red capsicum, passion fruit and Cape gooseberry nose, supported with a hint of lime and a subtle herbaceousness. Intense ripe Sauvignon Blanc dominates. A full-flavored style with great balance and longevity.

One of the best Sauvignon Blanc's I've ever tasted. I always rate a good SB by the crisp grapefruit coming through and this one does not fail.

Yummy! Yummy! Really nice with a Cream of Asparagus Soup that had a little kick to it. I thought is was slightly sweet which complemented the spice very nicely.

The Kim Crawford Sav Blanc has never let me down. It's very bright and refreshing, and the scent is delicious. The screw cap can take away the romance of opening a bottle, though. This wine goes well with seafood, salads, fruits, or just with a friendly conversation.
