Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

An intense aroma of ripe pear, apples and melon with appealing floral notes. The flavor is delicious ripe quince and pears combine with a hint of peaches and cream from the malolactic influence.

Select vineyard parcels of Pinot Grigio were sourced from various regions located predominantly on the East Coast of New Zealand's North and South Islands—Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Marlborough. These regions provide differing flavor spectrums, from Braeburn apple to ripe Packham pear.
