Our quality, value-priced red wine is made from grapes sourced from some of California's best known grape growing regions. The 2008 vintage is a perfect everyday drinking wine, full of ripe fruit and spicy character in both the mouth and nose. Gentle tannins and a lively mouthfeel round off this accessible, easy-drinking wine.
The 2008 bottling uses primarily Zinfandel and Petite Sirah to form a complex and delicious blend. Using the cuvée method, the winemakers keep each vineyard lot separate throughout fermentation and aging, thereby preserving the individual flavors of each vineyard. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the components are aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels for 15 months before blending.
