The 2006 Merlot crop from the London ranch was harvested in late September. The vintage had a mild growing season and a light crop that resulted in wines with excellent structure and ageability. The grapes were crushed and then fermented in stainless steel before aging in French and American oak barrels for 20 months.
Vibrant aromas of fresh cherries with hints of bay leaf and vanilla, lively acidity is balanced by well structured tannins and an excellent finish.
