Kenwood Jack London Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2000
Cabernet Sauvignon
from Sonoma County, California
winemaker's notes:
Complex and full-bodied, this Cabernet serves up luscious blackberry, chocolate and earth flavors that come together in a powerful and elegant finish.
The 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon fruit was harvested in late September, after a long, cool growing season, which produced very flavorful grapes. Following fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine was aged in newer French oak barrels for two years. The resulting wine is wonderfully complex with powerful berry, spice and earth flavors. Delicious now, this Cabernet will continue to develop and improve with further bottle aging.
