"The 2005 Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard is purple-colored with a superb aromatic array of pain grille, earth, spice box, black cherry, blueberry, and black raspberry. The wine is medium- to full-bodied with unusual depth for the vintage. There are layers of flavor, great integration, and a very long finish. Give it 4-6 years to open and drink it through 2027."

"Dark red. Spicy raspberry and kirsch aromas are lifted by vibrant floral notes of fresh violet and rose. Elegant, fine-grained and pure, with lively red fruit flavors and an exotic Asian spice element that mounts with aeration. There's a light touch here but also impressive concentration and a building floral quality on the long, sappy finish. I suspect that this would reward a few years of cellaring."
