I've been on a Chenin kick lately. So in my search for the great ones, reading and asking retailers, I was directed to Kanu, and understanably so! Beautifully displays tropical fruits, with a hint of almond and spice. Memorable wine, and of great value! My friends thoroughly enjoyed as well.

My preference usually is a Chardonnay or a Cabernet Sauvignon. And usually from California (my home state). However, I love wine tastings and am always trying to find other wines I like in case I am in a restaurant with no good choices in my chosen groups. I have come up with two Chenin Blancs that I would order time and time again. One is this one and one is Cafe Juno, from South Africa. I will continue to study South African wines now. My husband and I had the best Chardonnay we have ever had, hands down, from South Africa, back in 2008. Louisvale.

Bought this due to never having this vintner's product before, and the high points given by the "experts" (WS, RP, whoever it was). But it wasn't nearly as good as THEY portended it to be. OK, nothing special.

Certainly a LOVELY wine! I'm excited about this because I'm generally a red wine lover but sometimes you have to get out of the norm. Let me tell you this wine starts out with a great nose! I can't say enough ... it has great structure, smooth but with substance. Ideal ... in my opinion! I love a fine Sauv. Blanc but this I think would be more appealing to "the crowd". Please try ... It's just soooo good!
