Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.
Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.
Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.
Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
Inky bright crimson, with a dark center and a youthful edge. Aromas of black cherries, dark fruits of the forest and hints of cassis & spice. A full-bodied wine with a supple mouth feel. Dark berry characters, spice box and liquorice mingle on the palate. Enjoy over the next 5-8 years.
"Strong, deep colour; how much is the vintage is as yet not certain, but this is a delicious Barossa Valley shiraz hopefully pointing the direction for the future; the flavours are fully ripe and round, and it is the fruit, not the oak, that does the talking."
Australian Wine Companion
"Polished and expressive, offering a lithe silhouette of dark berry, fresh currant, coffee and muddled spices. The flavors expand and roll easily through the long finish. Drink now through 2020."
"Dark purple. Complex scents of cherry, redcurrant, violet and licorice, with slow-building smokiness. Sappy and expansive, offering juicy red fruit flavors and notes of bitter chocolate and candied flowers. Shows very good energy on the spicy finish, which leaves behind notes of anise and bitter cherry."

Kaesler is a privately owned wine company that produces estate grown wines from vineyards as old as 1893. The Kaesler family were pioneers who settled in the Barossa Valley in the 1840's. In 1891 they bought a parcel of land and in 1893 planted their first vines. Today Kaesler wines are made from these ancient, dry grown vineyards, by the third owners of this magnificent property.
