Winemaker's Notes

A beautiful single vineyard wine. Infinitely pure. Tangerine, Asian pear, and a lanolin texture give way to a nerve of minerality shivering down its spine.

Critical Acclaim

"The fruit comes from the cool climate Den Hoed Vineyard. It was barrel fermented in neutral French oak Burgundy barrels, yielding a racy, razor-sharp, spicy, detailed, delicious wine. Lovely fruit is highlighted with peppery notes, running the gamut from cucumber on through to tropical flavors. Ripe, full, lingering.
Editors' Choice"

"This silky, spicy white brims with floral, clove and white pepper flavors. The finish is almost oily - and that's a nice thing. Drink now. 850 cases made."
