• Light & Crisp: Light to medium bodied wines that are high in acid and light to medium fruit. Typically no oak.
• Fruity & Smooth: Light to medium bodied wines with lots of juicy fruit, typically medium acid and medium oak.
• Rich & Creamy: Full bodied wines that have typically undergone malo-lactic fermentation and/or spent time in oak.

In the southern part of the Côte d'Or, a few miles South of Santenay, lie the vineyards of Rully. It is a lovely area, part of the Region of Mercurey.

Both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are grown on the brown calcareous soil, the Chardonnay being found mostly on clay and limestone. As in the rest of Burgundy, the continental climate, with its warm Summer and mild fall, is very favourable to the good maturity of the grapes.

Rully is a delicious white Burgundy wine which resembles the whites from the Côte de Beaune: a luminous, golden green colour, a toasty, fruity nose, a refined, elegant body with floral and cinnamon notes.

This exquisite wine, which goes so well with delicate fish and most shellfish, is also an excellent value.
