A wine of great finesse, distinguished and elegant. The color is pure and bright, with light glints of white gold. The aromas evoke trees in bloom and white flesh fruit, like white peaches. With age, the aromas evolve towards almond and lightly grilled dried fruit. On the palate, there is a sensation of fresh silkiness. Long and persistent in the aftertaste, ending on an exceptional wealth of flavors, both floral and fruity.
"The 2009 Puligny-Montrachet impresses for its balance and harmony. This is more Reserved than the Meursault villages, but it shows lovely length to match its understated, classy personality. The finish is soft, supple and totally inviting. Anticipated maturity: 2012+."
The Wine Advocate
"A background hint of sulfur should be absorbed in due course and allow the pretty floral and
lightly spiced pear aromas to have center stage. The rich, generous and plump medium-bodied flavors display ample dry
extract that buffers the ripe acid spine that shapes the finely detailed and pure finish. A lovely villages."
