We offer two ways to locate information:
A very pleasant wine. Bright, clear red color. Aromas are surprising in their intensity and fruit. On the palate, a tender, supple, graceful, round body. Very flavorful in the aftertaste, with a hint of blackberry jam. When the wine gets older, wild blackberry is the dominant aroma. After three or five years, the wine takes on a distinctive smell of truffle and undergrowth evolving towards notes of venison.
Chorey needs a fine but simple cuisine: roasted poultry, grilled meats and soft cheese such as Reblochon or Brie.
"The Drouhin's excellent value 2007 Chorey-les-Beaune displays sweetly ripe cherry with hints of nut oils, brown spices, peat, and chalk. Richer than its 2008 counterpart though less bright, it nevertheless preserves a sense of interactive complexity and length you would not expect for the price. "
