Wine Style Guide
Light to medium bodied wines that are high in acid and light to medium fruit. Typically no oak.
Light to medium bodied wines with lots of juicy fruit, typically medium acid and medium oak.
Full bodied wines that have typically undergone malo-lactic fermentation and/or spent time in oak.
A genuine field blend that is brilliant straw yellow in color, with golden reflections. Intense, ample, very elegant and persistent, with scents of honey and country flowers. On the palate it is dry, mellow, well balanced, with extraordinary persistence thanks to the full body.
"Rich and silky, with a backbone of china-like acidity for balance and structure. Flavors of backed apricot, smoke, candle wax and Key lime are layered with accents of crystallized honey, chamomile and salted butter in this finely meshed, vibrant version, which has a lasting finish. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Ribolla. Gialla, Malvasia Istriana and Picolit. "
"The 2009 Vintage Tunina caresses the palate with juicy apricots, peaches and flowers. The 2009 is very nicely done for a year that did not provide the ideal conditions for this style of late-harvested white. Layers of fruit flow through to a caressing, energetic finish. Vintage Tunina is Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana and Picolit."
